10 Best Superhero Wedding Gifts

Superhero weddings are such an amazing idea. The coming together of our favorite heroes makes for the best backdrop to our own Big Day. With the season for weddings rapidly approaching and if you are going to a geek wedding then you are going to need something special for the happy couple.

Well, you have come to the right place. Comic Books are fun and exciting, but they can also be downright romantic. Throughout the history comic books, superheroes everywhere have got all loved up. There are the obvious lovers like Clark Kent and Lois Lane or Batman and Catwoman. However, there are a large number of capes who you would be surprised to give into temptation and you will see some of these below.

Each of these items is available in the Legend of Geek shop both here and on Etsy. They all contain one original comic book which has been sealed and preserved. You then have the choice of black or grey wood box frames. The rear of each frame contains the details of the comic book and a personalisation. You can add a message to your loved one or to the happy couple.

As mentioned before these are original comic books, not prints so will have the standard trade dress including barcodes, titles, texts, and adverts.

Ready for a Superhero Wedding? Here are our top 10

10. Hawkeye and Black Widow Framed Comic Book

This comic book is Avengers Assemble #5. It was published in July 2012. During this episode of “Zodiac”, Black Widow is injured in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier battle. Hawkeye tends to her wounds and they have a moment together.

This kind of relationship was alluded to in the Marvel movies before it was established that Hawkeye had a family.

Still, this is a super attractive comic book cover suitable for your Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner

9. The Spectacular Spider-Man #25

This very hot cover comes from the Sins Remembered storyline. This comic book was published in April 2005. This cover featuring Peter Parker and Sarah Stacey (long story!). This romantic framed comic book has a superhero wedding written all over it.

8. All-New, All-Different Avengers #4

Here were have two superheroes I bet you did not expect. Beautifully created by the legendary artist Alex Ross, Lady Thor (Jane Foster) and Falcon Sam Wilson in his Captain America role (did you see the ending to Endgame?). This comic book was published in March 2016. It is a pretty special cover and will make a unique gift.

Always act on your impulses, Sam Wilson. Life’s candle burns too briefly not to live in the moment. Avengers! Until our paths cross again… – Thor

7. Superman/Wonder Woman #4

Did you think these two would ever get together? This incredible romantic cover shows they did and what a power couple they made! This comic book was released in March 2014.

For there is at least one truth, and both of us know it. It’s one of the things that calls us to each other, despite everything. Because someday our battles will end. And there would be no greater tragedy… than facing that end alone. – Wonder Woman

6. Tony Stark Iron Man #4

Where is Ant-Man? Who would have thought Iron Man and The Wasp getting together? This comic book was published in October 2018 and features a great cover by artist Alexander Lozano. A huge gift for Iron Man fans.

Everyone thought I was gone. But I was lost in the Microverse. And when I came back… the way I got through it was by not picking up where I left off. I saw it all as a second chance. – Wasp

All the Bat-gossip. “What’s he doing now?” It’s all we ever could talk about. All of you spent your lives obsessing over him. But all of you, you never knew him. I know him. – Catwoman

1. Batman #50

For an article about the perfect gift for a superhero wedding, this one had to be at the top of the list. This was THE comic book event of 2018 and has proved VERY popular in our shop. There is a huge number of variants for this comic book but is the main one by artist Mikel Janin. It is everything a geek wedding should be.

To save the world, heroes make sacrifices. That’s the lesson of every story. I wish I could give my life, but I can’t, I have to give more. My sacrifice is my love. It’s you. – Selina Kyle

That was our top ten but we have many more in the shop. If buying a superhero themed gift is for your significant other or for the geek couple in your life, then these are the perfect gifts.
